Regional Sales Manager- West India
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets & profitability for PM-Kusum/Open Access and Utility Scale Products, Solutions and Services within the assigned region as per company goals.
2. Focus on exerting all necessary efforts to achieve individual, team, and company sales targets
and profitability.
3. Conduct regular on-ground customer visits ("Boots on the Ground") to engage with project developers and Solar EPCs, primarily in the assigned region of South India. Based on business requirements, this may also extend to other regions across PAN India. The role involves proactively identifying and tracking new inquiries, tenders, and business opportunities within the target customer base, beyond the initially designated territory as needed.
4. Identify and prospect new clients while nurturing and maintaining relationships with both existing and new clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
5. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of iPLON products and services, providing technical explanations and live demonstrations to customers.
6. Maintain engagement with customers and internal teams to provide comprehensive lifecycle support for project management.
7. Going through & understand Customer RFQs, technical specifications to summarise to internal stakeholders and to coordinate further to prepare technical compliance, architecture diagrams, techno commercial proposal for suitable iPLON products, solutions and services as per customer requirements.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing insights into market trends, competitor benchmarking, feature requirements, sales, sales support, marketing, and technical support to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and effective customer support.
9. Conduct individual or joint site visits with customers or other stakeholders as needed during both pre-sales and post-sales stages.
10. Ensure proactive planning, execution, and transparency by documenting daily activities and participating in regular (weekly/bi-weekly) internal calls or meetings to provide updates on the status and next steps for ongoing or pending tasks.
11. Prepare regular reports, technical documentation, and follow-up actions based on customer visits.
12. Gain a comprehensive understanding of and effectively utilize iPLON's workflows (CRM/Bitrix/GreytHR), workgroups, products, solutions, and services.
13. Drive business development of iPLON products and services with effective marketing solutions for the Indian & international market.
14. Manage events for iPLON's external & internal workshops, webinars, exhibitions both on-site or off-site.
15. Work cross-functionally in various departments as needed, according to company requirements and market changes.
16. Exhibit adaptability in learning new technologies, addressing business challenges, sharing knowledge, and striving for execution excellence.
